Book Review: Right Next Door by Delilah Peters

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I didn’t hate this one, but I didn’t absolutely love it either.

Emma is a single mom of two girls, Will, a divorced dad, moves in next door. The tension is there right from the get go. I didn’t find the connection between Will and Emma to be enough. Yes, Will really helped Emma overcome some personal obstacles that stemmed from her horrible birth with her second born, but the spark just wasn't there for me. I can understand the idea behind the story, it is very cute, but I didn’t find the connect there between the two characters. Yes, there seemed to be some sexual attraction, but the desire just didn’t come through for me. The medical pieces, the birth of Emma's youngest daughter, and horror story of it, those were a really great additions to the book. The focus on building yourself up to a positive outlook and love of yourself was really nice, and I did enjoy that this book points out that there’s more than just one way to find pleasure with another person. All in all, not a top of the charts, but definitely a quick cute read. 3/5 Stars
