I loved this book! It was cute, it had sad moments, laugh out loud moments, jaw drop shocker moments, it just never let me down. I love Fixie! Our main character has some serious life changes throughout the story, and she never stopped overcoming each obstacle that cropped up in front of her. Her love life moved a little quick for me, but that doesn't reflect poorly on her or the story. She didn't fall into bed with a new man every time you turned a page, and the men she was involved with were not one night stands or people she'd picked up in a bar. Fixie kept things real, with just the right amount of anxiety to round out her hilarious personality. Ryan was the worst. I have met a lot of people like this fella out in the real world, and I couldn't stand him from the get go. Seb, on the other hand, had my vote from the second Fixie laid eyes on him. It was really great to experience both of these men through Fixie, and to see how the light shifted over each in turn. Fixie really grew and changed according to her experiences with each, while some pieces of her personality were simply brightened rather than adjusted altogether. The Farr Family is a hot mess, with both Fixies siblings being absolute disasters. By the end of book though, both Nicole and Jake end up turning themselves around, in the classic "happyish ever after" way I personally love. They grew as characters, becoming less self absorbed and more family oriented. If only real life could tie up so neatly. I really enjoyed how quick paced the story was, although the 'come together' at the end was a little far fetched, with not nearly enough dialogue between Fixie and Seb for me to be satisfied with how things ended. When all is said and done, I give this one a solid 4/5*. Great read, definitely recommend.
