Grab your tissues kids, regardless of the version you choose. I've heard from very reliable sources that the written version, which I did not read, and the audio version (my choice), are just as emotionally crippling.

I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style of this novel, the flip flop between main characters and their points of view.

Theodore Finch and Violet Markey will stay with me for a very, very long time. A boy called "freak" and a girl with a tragic history. A high school project brings them together, to a point in each of their lives that neither of them saw coming. The journey there is hilarious, frustrating, beautiful, so many feelings all rolling around together.

The tragedy of this story, the heart-wrenching realness, it's absolutely devastating. I fell in love with Finch, and I felt a kindred spirit with Violet. I can not say enough about the both of them. I felt like their story was just so real, like high school for me all over again.

This will be one that stays with you. A full 5 stars, I could not have loved this story more, even if it has emotionally wrecked me. I recommend this book 100%
