I had a pretty solid reading month in April! I managed to finish 8 books! 4 audiobooks, 2 Ebooks and 2 honest to goodness, hold them in your hand, made out of real paper books! Not a crazy month, but I was really happy with the books I read! I had 2 NetGalley reads, and I loved them! It's books like those that make me so happy I was introduced to the site!
Now, because I'm talking about the books I loved this past month, I should also bring up the books I did not enjoy, at all. I came away with 2 DNF (DID NOT FINISH) books this month! For me, that is saying something. I usually try to power through a book, just to say that I did't let it beat me. I have since come to terms with the idea that life is too short to tough out books you're not enjoying.

Now, both of my DNF books bored me to tears. I dreaded trying to read any more than I had already, and that's a pretty good indication that it's time to walk away.
None of my experiences with these books should ever dictate to someone whether or not they would personally enjoy them. Every person is different. I always recommend that you give a book a try, and find out for yourself!
